SCHEDULE FOR THE Final MOBILITY IN Istanbul
(6th April- 11th April)
Monday, 07th of April:
09.00 Meeting at school to visit the mayor (the students come to school with host students and a
school bus will take the teachers from their hotels at 08:30)
09.15 – 10.00 Opening speeches in town hall
10.00 – 12.00 Zeytinburnu tour
12.30 Arrival at school to have lunch (our students will introduce our school first and then we
will have lunch from parents)
13.30 Presentation of the games (we will present our games in a row:
14.00 – 16.30 Visit to Miniatürk
17.00 – 18.00 Pierre Loti for a drink
Tuesday, 8th April:
09.00 Meeting at school (teachers will arrive at school by tram)
09.15 – 11.30 Doing the sport activities (for students) and having the last meeting (for teachers)
12.30 – 13.30 Having lunch at Cankurtaran Öğretmenevi
14.00 – 18.00 Touring Süleymaniye, Beyazıt Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar
(After the end of the day, teachers will sail to Üsküdar, one of the districts of Istanbul in
Asian continent, and watch the sunset near the Maiden’s Tower, and then have dinner at
Katibim restaurant.)
Wednesday, 9th April:
08.30 Students will be taken from school and all the group members will meet in front of the
Sultanahmet Blue Mosque.
09.30 – 12.15 Touring Sultanahmet Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Museum and Topkapı Palace
12.30 – 13.30 Having lunch at Tarihi Sultanahmet Köftecisi
13.45 – 17.00 Touring Basilica Cistern and Archeology Museum
Thursday, 10th April:
08.30 Students will be taken from school
09.00 Teachers will be taken from their hotels
09.15 – 10.15 Touring Yıldız Palace
11.00 – 12.00 Visiting a dessert factory, Güllüoğlu
12.30 – 13.30 Having lunch at Konak Restaurant on İstiklal Street, Taksim Square
13.30 – 15.30 Free time on İstiklal Street
15.45 Meeting in front of Galatasaray High School on İstiklal Street
16.00 – 17.00 Touring Galata Tower
17.30 Meeting in front of Yeni Cami to have final dinner at Bosphorus Tour
Friday, 11th April:
Free time till noon (as Polish and Italian teams will depart)
At noon Rumeli fortresses and Emirgan can be arranged
Dinner can be arranged at Emirgan (these are optional, we can decide it altogether)
Saturday,12th April: Departure for other partners
PS: Timetable is flexible because of the traffic.
